Malware and Mistletoe: December Security Update
11 December 2019

'Tis the season of Malware! Our quarterly security update with the BES team. The holiday season presents an opportunity for cyber security attackers. Leading up to Christmas, there is always an increase in holiday themed malware attacks disguised in holiday emails, point-of-sale malware and even requests for payment on services.

A merry way to end the calendar year and enter the festive season. We host quarterly updates, free and open to anyone who is interested - register for event notifications, and you will be first to know of our next!

Is your school implementing Microsoft Teams, or about to? Maybe you’ve been using Teams for a while now, but it’s getting a bit messy, and you know there must be tricks to utilise it better for your staff.

Our FREE 1 day workshop is facilitated by Amanda Frampton – Learning Delivery Specialist for Education with Microsoft Australia. It runs from 9am - 3pm at BES HQ, Springwood. You bring your laptop, so all of the learning is done in context with your own interface.

Security and Shiraz: December Security Update
12 September 2019

Security breaches are making headlines Australia-wide for all the wrong reasons. We know that 90% of organisations that experience a security breach cease to operate within 4 months.

We held our quarterly security update on 12th September 2019. Attendees joined us in the BES boardroom where BES Managed Services Director, Dylan Mapp, presented our Cyber Security Update alongside our guest speaker, Michael Skelton, from NCC Group.

After our security update we enjoyed an extensive wine tasting with Sandy Burke from Wine Escape.

BES hosts security updates every quarter - this industry changes so quickly, it is key to keep on top of current information, and we love to share with you. If you would like to receive information on our next security update, please fill in your details in the form below!
